The Hollywood Reporter has a wonderful video of the Q&A session from the November 26 screening of Lincoln.

Lee speaks around 14 minutes in, and director Steven Spielberg mentions that he saw Lee’s performance in Ceremony and decided to cast him as Fernando Wood without having Lee to test for the role. Seriously how awesome is that.

ahhhh mahh gah, does Spielberg’s impressed-ness of Lee mean that we can maybe look forward to Lee Pace being in future Spielberg films???? And Jake Johnson too! (My heart took a skip in anticipation of the other actor’s name)

“Mike Chang’s Gift From His Parents”

all the tears

Chuck: …Humphrey, I see you immortalized me once again in print. Should I be concerned about your level of obsession?

Dan: Not at all, I find your battle with your father inspiring. It’s the stuff myths are made of, like Zeus and Kronos. It never ends.

Blair: Until Zeus wins and comes to be with Hera.

Dan: Actually, Zeus tricked Hera into being with him. After he raped her.

—Gossip Girl, 6x05

**Blair, you don’t have to be Hera. You have choices.
P.S. Shout-out to the person who paralleled the quote from Elizabeth to Darcy with Blair’s exchange with Dan. See? Just some old-fashioned crushing angst, not the end.

Apparently, Singh and Pace told cast & crew of The Fall that he was actually a paraplegic. Now that’s method acting.

I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

Exactly what I thought when I saw ppl celebrating over bin laden’s death. That doesn’t really make us all that better.
